Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what personal information RaiseGate Deck collects, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we collect:

  • Account information: name, professional email address, profile image, company details, and authentication records.
  • Content and settings: uploaded decks, thumbnails, branding, share-link settings, recipient details, reports, support messages, and prompts submitted to optional AI features.
  • Reader analytics: viewer identity when provided, link opens, pages viewed, time spent, completion, downloads, approximate location derived from IP address, browser or device information, and timestamps.
  • Billing information: plan, transaction, subscription, and billing-status information from our payment provider. We do not directly store full payment-card details.
  • Technical information: IP address, logs, error data, security events, cookies, and similar data needed to operate and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide accounts, uploads, sharing, analytics, downloads, notifications, billing, support, and optional AI features;
  • authenticate users, enforce link permissions, prevent abuse, and protect the service;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, understand, and improve product performance;
  • send service messages and activity notifications requested through product settings; and
  • comply with law, enforce our Terms, and resolve disputes.

3. Information shown to deck owners

If you open a deck shared through RaiseGate, the person or organization that shared it may receive analytics about your interaction. This can include your email address or supplied identity, approximate location, device or browser information, pages viewed, reading time, completion, and downloads. The deck owner is responsible for its own use of that information.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the service, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier processing.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • deck owners and authorized workspace users as described above;
  • service providers supporting infrastructure, storage, authentication, email, payments, analytics, customer support, security, and optional AI processing;
  • professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate misuse; and
  • a successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

6. AI features

If an account owner enables and a user chooses an AI feature, relevant deck content and the user's prompt may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the requested response. Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed for the request.

7. Cookies and local storage

RaiseGate uses essential cookies and similar storage for authentication, security, preferences, and protected-deck access. Blocking them may prevent parts of the service from working. We do not use advertising cookies on RaiseGate Deck.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by data type and account status. We may retain limited backups or records after deletion where legally required or technically necessary, then delete or de-identify them under our retention processes.

9. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. RaiseGate and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live; where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.

10. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to appeal or complain to a regulator. You may also withdraw consent where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and legal exceptions may apply.

To make a request, email hey@raisegate.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

11. Children

RaiseGate Deck is a professional service and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material.

13. Contact
