Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of RaiseGate Deck. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. The service

RaiseGate Deck lets users upload, manage, share, and analyze presentations and related content. Features may include protected links, reader analytics, downloads, notifications, and optional AI-assisted tools.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and use the service for lawful professional or business purposes.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of presentations, files, branding, prompts, and other content you submit. You grant RaiseGate a limited license to host, copy, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to fulfill your sharing instructions.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and share your content and that doing so does not violate law, confidentiality duties, intellectual-property rights, or another person's privacy.

4. Sharing and analytics

You control who receives your links and which available protections you enable. No online sharing method is risk-free, and recipients may retain information they are permitted to view or download. Reader activity may be shown to the account owner, including identity where provided, approximate location, device information, pages viewed, time spent, completion, and downloads.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • break the law, infringe rights, or distribute deceptive, harmful, or unlawful material;
  • upload malware, probe vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service;
  • access another person's account or content without authorization;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service except where law expressly permits it; or
  • use automated systems in a way that creates unreasonable load or interferes with other users.

6. Paid plans

Paid features, prices, billing periods, and limits are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew as disclosed at checkout unless canceled. Payments and refunds are handled under the checkout terms and applicable law. Taxes may apply. We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice where required.

7. Intellectual property

RaiseGate and its licensors own the service, software, design, branding, and related intellectual property, excluding your content. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account remains active and compliant.

8. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers for functions such as hosting, storage, authentication, email, payments, and AI features. Their services may be governed by separate terms. RaiseGate is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep RaiseGate Deck reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits to protect security, performance, or legal compliance.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. RaiseGate does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific fundraising outcomes, or that security controls will prevent every unauthorized action.

To the extent permitted by law, RaiseGate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. RaiseGate's aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where law does not allow them.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
